About Halcyon (HAL)
Halcyon Coin ist eine dezentralisierte digitale Währung, die am 16. August 2014 mit einer etwa 9-tägigen Proof-of-Work (PoW)-Phase gestartet ist. Halcyon wurde so entwickelt, dass die PoW-Phase gleichzeitig mit der Proof-of-Stake-Phase (PoS) ablief, die schließlich die Blockchain als Mittel zur Transaktionsbestätigung übernahm. Halcyon wurde ohne Premine oder IPO gestartet. Stakeholder werden für das Halten ihrer Münzen mit einer jährlichen Rate von 9% belohnt. Diese Rate verzinst sich auch selbst, und der Staker erhält als zusätzlichen Anreiz Transaktionsgebühren. Halcyon-Nutzer mit Wallet-Guthaben von mehr als 2000 Münzen werden bald als Masternodes teilnehmen können, was eine weitere Quelle für passives Einkommen darstellt. Bis zum Ende der PoW-Phase wurden insgesamt 1,62 Millionen Münzen produziert. Der x15-Algorithmus wurde gewählt, um Einzelpersonen die beste Chance zu geben, Münzen zu erwerben, mit der geringsten Beeinflussung durch Multipools und ASICs.
