Laut Onchain Lens eröffnete eine Wal-Entität ungefähr 235.000 WTI-Rohöl-Short-Kontrakte mit dem 20-fachen Leverage, als die Rohölpreise unter 85 US-Dollar pro Barrel fielen. Die Position mit einem Nominalwert von rund 19,38 Millionen US-Dollar wurde rasch profitabel. Die nicht realisierten Gewinne des Whales liegen inzwischen bei über 600.000 US-Dollar.
