Die US-Aktienindizes schlossen am Dienstag uneinheitlich: Der Nasdaq fiel um 0,71%, der S&P 500 sank um 0,16% und der Dow Jones Industrial Average stieg um 0,11%. Der Technologiesektor für Halbleiter stand unter breitem Verkaufsdruck, wobei der Philadelphia Semiconductor Index (SOX) um mehr als 3% nachgab. Qualcomm fiel um mehr als 11% und verzeichnete damit seinen schlechtesten Tag seit März 2020, während Intel und SanDisk jeweils um über 6% nachgaben. Micron Technology fiel um mehr als 3%, und Broadcom, AMD, Applied Materials und ASML verloren jeweils über 2%.
