Laut dem Thailand Board of Investment genehmigte die BOI des Landes am 6. Mai sechs Projekte im Wert von 958 Milliarden Baht (29 Milliarden US-Dollar), davon drei Rechenzentrumsprojekte mit insgesamt 913 Milliarden Baht (28 Milliarden US-Dollar). Das Projekt von TikTok System Thailand macht 842 Milliarden Baht (25,8 Milliarden US-Dollar) aus, um Server und Dateninfrastruktur in drei Provinzen auszubauen, während die Skyline-Einheit der DAMAC Group die Genehmigung für 46 Milliarden Baht (1,41 Milliarden US-Dollar) erhielt und Singapore-based Bridge Data Centres für 24,6 Milliarden Baht (753 Millionen US-Dollar).
