Laut Korea Economic Daily sind die Aktien von Samsung Electronics und SK Hynix am Montag eingebrochen, da Anleger auf Berichte über ihre bevorstehenden großen Investitionsankündigungen reagierten. Die Aktie von Samsung Electronics fiel um 4,7 %, während SK Hynix um 3,1 % nachgab.

Beide Unternehmen werden bei einem Regierungsbriefing am Montag um 14:00 Uhr Ortszeit unter dem Vorsitz von Präsident Lee Jae Myung Investitionspläne im Gesamtwert von bis zu 2.000 Billionen Won (1,3 Billionen US-Dollar) für die nächsten zehn Jahre vorstellen.
