Laut ChainCatcher ist der Spot-Goldpreis heute Morgen um 2,3% auf 4.651 US-Dollar auf Hyperliquid gestiegen. Damit hat er in den sieben Tagen zum dritten Mal dieses Niveau erneut erreicht, nachdem er am 4. Mai auf 4.500 US-Dollar gefallen war. Der Anstieg hat Abraxas Capital, einen prominenten On-Chain-Short-Seller, von Gewinn in Verlust gedrückt. Die 5x gehebte GOLD-Short-Position des Fonds, die auf 22 Millionen US-Dollar bemessen ist und einen durchschnittlichen Einstiegspreis von 4.650 US-Dollar hat, ist nun der größte On-Chain-Gold-Short-Bestand.
