Laut einem Beitrag des Mitbegründers Vitalik Buterin vom 18. Juni hat Hsiao-Wei Wang ihr Amt als Co-Executive-Director der Ethereum Foundation nach einer Sabbatzeit niedergelegt. Buterin hob hervor, dass Wang seit einem Jahrzehnt eine verlässliche Mitwirkende im Ethereum-Ökosystem gewesen sei, und lobte ihre frühe Beteiligung an Ethereum-Forschung und Konsensarbeit. Wang sagte, dass Ethereum schon immer größer gewesen sei als jede einzelne Rolle oder Organisation. Ihr Ausscheiden folgt auf das von Co-Executive-Director Tomasz Stańczak, der zuvor angekündigt hatte, die Foundation verlassen zu wollen.
