März erklärte der iranische Oberste Führer, dass die Straße von Hormus weiterhin geschlossen bleibt, was die geopolitischen Spannungen verschärft und die internationalen Ölpreise steigen lässt. Davon betroffen stiegen die US-Ölaktien von Battalion Oil um über 21 %, und US-Öl-ETFs stiegen um fast 7 %. Auf der Hyperliquid-Plattform stiegen WTI-Rohöl (CL) auf über 93 USD, Brent-Rohöl (BRENTOIL) auf 96 USD.

Vor diesem Hintergrund eröffnete die Whales-Adresse neoyokio.eth (0x152) innerhalb der letzten halben Stunde eine 4-fache Hebel-Long-Position auf Rohöl, kaufte 55.800 Einheiten im Wert von etwa 5,2 Millionen USD bei einem Durchschnittspreis von 92,97 USD. Bis zum Redaktionsschluss verzeichnete diese Position einen unrealisierten Gewinn von 32.000 USD. Diese Adresse ist derzeit die größte Long-Position auf Hyperliquid mit einem Bestand von über 18 Millionen USD.
