Gate News bot Nachricht, dass der Ethereum-Entwickler Péter Szilágyi enthüllt hat, dass die Ethereum Foundation zuvor einen unabhängigen Vorschlag in Höhe von 5 Millionen US-Dollar an das Geth-Team (Go Ethereum, die Haupt-Client-Software von Ethereum) gestellt hat, dieser jedoch vom Team abgelehnt wurde. Gleichzeitig hat die Stiftung Parity ebenfalls 5 Millionen US-Dollar an finanzieller Unterstützung bereitgestellt, um die Diversifizierung der Clients voranzutreiben und die Abhängigkeit von Geth zu senken.

In diesem Zusammenhang erklärte Tomasz Stańczak, der Co-Geschäftsführer der Ethereum Foundation, dass die Stiftung derzeit keine Pläne hat, Geth zu entfernen, und die Entwicklungsarbeit weiterhin unterstützen wird.
