To further enhance the chart analysis experience for professional traders, Gate has completed an upgrade to its TradingView candlestick capabilities. The update adds popular community structure indicators, futures data sub-charts, and multiple classic and in-house technical indicators, enabling users to analyze price structure, trend direction, market sentiment, and capital flow within a single candlestick chart.

As part of Gate's continued investment in professional trading experiences, this upgrade covers spot, margin, ETF, Alpha, perpetual futures, and selected TradFi markets and is available on the web TradingView interface, further improving multi-market and multi-dimensional trading analysis efficiency.

This upgrade focuses on three main directions:

  • Community structure indicators : Users can now directly access popular TradingView community scripts within Gate's TradingView charts, covering Fair Value Gaps (FVG), Order Blocks, Pivot Points, trend tracking tools, and other structural analysis indicators, suitable for Smart Money / ICT trading system users.
  • Futures data sub-charts : Users can view key funding and sentiment data directly on the chart without leaving the page, including Open Interest (OI), large account long/short ratios, taker buy/sell volume, basis, and liquidation volume, enabling "price + funding" combined analysis.
  • Classic / in-house technical indicators : New indicators include BRAR, INDEX, SKDJ, PSY, BBI, AVL, MTM, EMV, VR, DMA, further enhancing trend, sentiment, volume, and momentum analysis capabilities.

TradingView Community Popular Indicators Now Available

The newly added community popular indicators include:

  • Fair Value Gap [LuxAlgo]
  • Order Blocks + Breaker Blocks [Flux Charts]
  • Scalping PullBack Tool R1
  • Pivot Points High Low & Missed Reversals
  • Optimized Trend Tracker

Among them, FVG (Fair Value Gap) helps users identify "price vacuum zones" formed after rapid price movements, used to detect potential support and resistance areas. Order Blocks help identify key price zones where institutions may accumulate or distribute positions. The Optimized Trend Tracker uses an adaptive algorithm to intuitively display trend direction and strength changes, and is suitable for combined use with FVG and Order Block structure indicators. In real trading scenarios, users can further improve analysis efficiency through multi-indicator confluence.

This module supports spot, margin, ETF, Alpha, perpetual (USDT/BTC-margined, excluding delivery), and TradFi markets, and is only available on TradingView charts.

Futures Dedicated Sub-Chart Upgrade

Gate has also launched multiple futures data sub-charts, allowing users to directly view key funding and sentiment data below the candlestick chart without switching pages.

New sub-charts include:

  • Open Interest (OI)
  • Large account long/short ratio (L.S Acco.)
  • Large account position long/short ratio (L.S Posit.)
  • Long/short account ratio (L.S Ratio)
  • Taker buy/sell volume (Taker B.S Vol.)
  • Basis
  • Liquidation volume

Among them, OI helps users observe whether new market capital continues to flow in. Taker buy/sell volume is used to determine the direction of short-term aggressive capital. The basis sub-chart supports viewing both absolute basis and basis rate, helping observe futures premium and discount changes. The liquidation volume sub-chart displays long and short forced liquidation scale via bar charts, helping users identify extreme market sentiment and deleveraging events.

This module applies to USDT-margined / coin-margined perpetual futures (excluding delivery) and supports both live and demo trading.

Expansion of Classic and In-House Technical Indicators

In addition to structural and funding tools, Gate has added multiple classic and proprietary technical indicators, further enhancing the trend, sentiment, volume, and momentum analysis framework.

  • Sentiment and overbought/oversold analysis: Adds BRAR, PSY, and SKDJ. SKDJ uses double smoothing to reduce noise and is better suited for identifying overbought/oversold conditions and short-term turning points. PSY (Psychological Line) is used to quantify market optimism and pessimism.
  • Trend analysis: Adds BBI, DMA, and Optimized Trend Tracker. BBI combines multiple moving averages into a single composite line to determine the overall trend direction. DMA is used to measure the deviation between short-term and long-term trends.
  • Volume and momentum analysis: Adds MTM, VR, Turnover, EMV, and other indicators. EMV combines price movement and volume to measure whether price moves "with ease". VR is used to observe volume structure between bulls and bears.

In addition, the INDEX indicator now supports overlaying the index price line directly on the main USDT perpetual chart, allowing users to more intuitively observe the premium or discount between futures prices and index prices.

As the crypto market continues to evolve toward greater professionalism and institutionalization, a single indicator is no longer sufficient for complex trading scenarios. After this upgrade, users can analyze markets through multi-dimensional confluence of "structure + trend + momentum + funding" rather than relying on a single signal. When at least 2–3 types of signals align in the same direction, it can further enhance analytical value, helping users better understand market rhythm and capital behavior. In the future, Gate will continue expanding professional charting tools and data capabilities to provide global users with a more complete professional-grade trading experience.

Feature Access

Users can quickly add relevant indicators via the TradingView main chart indicator bar, technical indicator panel, featured indicators section, and top shortcut buttons. Applicability varies slightly across indicators; please refer to the actual interface display.
