This is a common tactic used by market makers—using "boredom" to shake you out. What people can't tolerate most is doing something for a long time without any feedback. You stare for an hour, and the K-line goes nowhere, making you feel like you're wasting your life.
Then what happens? Your fingers start itching, and at this indecisive price level, you take a blind gamble with your eyes closed.
