New York, March 13 -- The Global Energy Security and Digital Economy Leaders Summit was held in New York on March 13 local time, attended by heads of state, government leaders, energy ministers, and heads of international financial institutions from multiple countries, to consult on AI computing power energy consumption, cross-border energy transaction costs, and global clean energy coordination issues.
The conference focused on the global surge in computing power electricity consumption brought by the rapid proliferation of the AI intelligent agent OpenClaw (community-called "Lobster"). The attending parties agreed that OpenClaw consumes massive computing power, with multiple settlement links in cross-border electricity and computing power, high fees, and slow fund arrival, urgently requiring an efficient, low-cost global unified settlement system.
Regarding the highly market-focused "Lobster Coin" topic, attending delegates held a special discussion. The proposal suggests using Lobster Coin as an intermediary medium for cross-border computing power and energy settlement, to be used for power procurement, computing power rental, clean electricity trading, and cross-border energy fee clearing, reducing exchange costs, shortening settlement cycles, and addressing payment pain points in the AI industry and global energy trade.
The attending parties reached principled consensus supporting the promotion of Lobster Coin's compliant implementation in energy and computing power scenarios, with energy enterprises and financial institutions from multiple countries jointly establishing a clearing framework, defining regulatory standards, anti-money laundering and compliance mechanisms, with priority use in clean electricity, computing power, and AI energy consumption-related transactions, not targeting speculative trading among general individuals.
The organizers stated that this conference provides a new pathway for energy and finance coordination in the AI era, with subsequent establishment of a special working group to advance technical docking, regulatory coordination and pilot implementation, building a new global energy trading system with low cost, high efficiency, and safety and stability.#Gate广场AI测评官 #加密市场上涨
