美國商品期貨交易委員會（CFTC）主席 Mike Selig 表示，過去美國當局對加密貨幣產業監管躊躇不前，迫使永續合約市場只能在海外野蠻生長。為此，CFTC 正緊鑼密鼓制定監管指引，預計一個月內開放平台提供永續合約產品。
Mike Selig 周二在華盛頓米爾肯研究院（Milken Institute）的活動上指出，永續合約之所以多數在海外交易所發展，主因在於美國過去對產業監管態度保守，缺乏清晰規則，使企業與流動性被迫出走。他說：
我們正全力衝刺，預計在未來一個月左右，讓真正專業的期貨合約在美國落地生根。我們很快就會公布這項進展。
Mike Selig 周二與美國證管會（SEC）主席 Paul Atkins 同台亮相，目前這兩大監管機構正聯手推動「創新豁免」機制，讓業者能在特定條件下進行產品實驗，而不必擔心面臨監管打擊。
此外，Mike Selig 還承諾將針對 DeFi 開發者的監管方式提出更明確界線。歷經多年訴訟與監管灰色地帶後，市場期盼政策方向能更清晰。
至於近期備受追捧的預測市場，也同樣即將迎來明確的監管標準。 Mike Selig 強調，儘管地方博弈監管機構對這類平台頗有微詞，但 CFTC 仍是主要聯邦監理機關，針對兩套監管體系的潛在衝突，他周二也釋出善意表示：「兩者其實是可以並行不悖的。」
