Analysts: Demand elasticity could become the next factor constraining AI-related profit growth.

Jinse Finance reported, on June 26, that Asian stocks fell to a two-week low as a tech sell-off was triggered by Apple’s price increase. “Apple’s sudden price hike has sobered up investors in AI concept stocks,” said Glen Yin, research director at brokerage ACCM. “Investors have begun to question who will ultimately bear these costs, rather than simply celebrating the growth in semiconductor demand; if a large portion of those costs is passed on to consumers, demand elasticity could become the next factor limiting AI-related profit growth.”
