According to Beating Monitoring, the xAI AI chat assistant Grok has officially launched the Connectors feature on the web platform, open to all SuperGrok Heavy and SuperGrok paid users. Elon Musk reposted the related post and commented “Progress”.

Currently supporting 5 preset connectors: Gmail, GitHub, Google Calendar, Notion, and Google Drive. Users can also create custom connectors to connect to other services. After connection, Grok can directly read emails, calendar events, code repositories, Notion notes, and cloud files within conversations, saving the steps of manual copying, pasting, or switching tabs.

Previously, the Google Drive connector was launched for Grok Business and Enterprise enterprise customers, indexing files via xAI’s Collections API and strictly adhering to Google Drive permissions. Extending Connectors to the consumer side means individual paid users can also allow Grok to directly access their work data, completing tasks such as inbox summaries, meeting preparations, and code repository analysis using natural language.
