BlockBeats News, May 4, according to official sources, Coinbase announced a partnership with Kemet, a provider of crypto derivatives OEMS (Order and Execution Management System) and PMS (Portfolio Management System). Through this collaboration, Coinbase Exchange, Coinbase Derivatives Exchange, Coinbase International Exchange, and Deribit will be integrated into the Kemet platform, enabling institutional clients to access Coinbase trading venues through a single interface, routing execution orders across spot, futures, and options.

As part of the partnership, Coinbase Ventures will make a strategic investment in Kemet to support long-term cooperation, aiming to achieve the goal of supporting large-scale advanced trading. Kemet’s platform supports advanced multi-leg options strategies, smart order routing, automatic Delta hedging, and spread trading algorithms—capabilities required by institutional trading desks to execute complex derivatives strategies at scale.

Coinbase said its goal is to become the most trusted and comprehensive trading platform, continuously expanding the types of assets its clients can trade and the ways to execute complex derivatives strategies. As an open multi-broker platform, Kemet enables institutions that trade across multiple venues to seamlessly connect and prioritize using Coinbase markets.
