CoinWorld reports that Microsoft, Chevron, and Engine No.1 have signed an exclusive power supply agreement aimed at providing electricity for Microsoft's upcoming data center campus in West Texas. The agreement involves a natural gas power plant with an estimated cost of approximately $7 billion and an initial generation capacity of 2,500 MW, which will power AI services such as ChatGPT. Currently, the commercial terms and final agreement have not yet been finalized.
