Is the personal carbon asset boom coming? Digital RMB takes the lead through "Carbon Inclusiveness" to seize the market first
Written by: Liang Yu
Edited by: Zhao Yidan
At the beginning of 2026, a seemingly simple feature launch has sparked dual attention in the fields of fintech and green finance. According to the message released by the Digital Renminbi Operation and Management Center, to enrich the application of digital renminbi in the "green finance" scenario, the Digital Renminbi App has officially launched the "Carbon Inclusive" mini-program service, which has been rolled out first in Shanghai.
After users activate this service, carbon points generated from green travel activities such as taking the subway and riding shared bikes will be automatically accumulated and can be exchanged for digital renminbi. The first batch of platforms connected includes Shanghai Metro's official app Metro Dàdūhuì, Hello Chuxing, and T3 Chuxing.
This is not just a simple "green points exchange." In the recently released "Shanghai Carbon Market Comprehensive Deepening Reform Action Plan (2026–2030)," it explicitly proposes to "explore individual participation in carbon trading."

TradingBaseAI Column | Why the real importance is not "whether to trade" but "how to participate in the market"
In the market, many discussions seem diverse and varied,
but essentially, they all revolve around one question:
"How can I trade better?"
Therefore, people continuously improve skills, learn methods, and study strategies.
But a more fundamental question is often overlooked:
What "approach" are you using to participate in this market?

1. Trading results are often determined by the "entry method" from the start

Many people attribute failures to:
ineffective strategies
poor judgment
improper execution
But in the long run, what truly affects the outcome is not a single operation,
but the long-term approach you adopt to participate.
Is it based on personal judgment?
Is it based on temporary decisions?
Or is it based on a system that can be repeatedly executed?
Different approaches,
the upper and lower limits of results, are different from the very beginning.

2. Personal trading approach is fundamentally highly dependent on "state"

Laying the Foundation for the AI Agent Economy: A Technology Implementation Blueprint Predicted by a16z
It's that time of year again—end-of-year prediction season. Venture capitalists throw out glamorous trends, media rush to reprint them, and builders—those of us who turn concepts into reality—often frown at a blurry roadmap. When a16z's crypto team predicts that by 2026 AI will face "paradigm shifts in research," "agent identity crises," and "open network invisible taxes," what we see are not headlines, but a list of three pressing technical issues to solve.
This article does not aim to reiterate these predictions. Instead, we see them as an open technical requirements specification. If you and I believe, as I do, that the future will be defined by complex collaboration among AI agents, then we must start designing the foundational protocols, architectural patterns, and value flow mechanisms that support all of this now. Below is an actionable technical blueprint addressing these three major challenges.

TEAMZ Web3 / AI SUMMIT 2026: Institutional Entry, Policy Shift, and Rising Calls for "Crypto ETFization"
Entering 2026, Japan's Web3 industry is ushering in a new acceleration phase: on one hand, traditional financial institutions such as banks, securities firms, and trust companies continue to expand their presence, from RWA and security tokens to 24/7 tokenized trading platforms, with institutional entry shifting from "trial" to "systematic promotion."
On the other hand, the Japanese government has sent clearer signals of support. Japanese Finance Minister Satsuki Katayama recently publicly stated that she supports introducing crypto asset trading mechanisms into traditional markets such as stock exchanges and commodity exchanges, and, taking the US crypto ETF as a reference, promoting the direction of digital assets like BTC and ETH "legally entering mainstream investment channels."
Meanwhile, Japan's crypto tax reform is also accelerating: multiple media reports indicate that Japan plans to lower the current maximum crypto asset income tax rate of 55% to match
