March 4, 2026, I was careless and didn't flash!

March 4, 2026, Wednesday.

The bidding ended, and the entire market basically shut down, with only a few sectors in the red—oil, natural gas, and agriculture. Yesterday’s first boards mostly had no premium. Ningbo Oceanic’s bidding was -4.98%. I thought I’d open the market to see if there was any recovery, but after a couple of struggles at the open, there was no strong rebound. I gave up and cut losses. Afterwards, I saw a bunch of stocks hitting the limit down. It’s been a long time since I saw such a crazy market; yesterday’s first boards were generally around -7%.

Then the market started a slight recovery, but those stocks that hit the limit yesterday didn’t respond much (at that time, I glanced and saw many stocks still struggling at the limit down). The main capital flow was into power equipment-related stocks. There was some news yesterday: one was our 155 plan to invest 4 trillion yuan, and the other was the US preparing to build the largest power station. Honestly, I think this sector still looks good, especially with the index pushing up. According to my expected script today, it should open low and then move higher, with a strong recovery. So, the power sector should be taken seriously today.

I selected TBEA, Hualing Cable, Guodian Nanzi, GD Electric, Dalian Electric Porcelain, Baobian Electric, and China Electric Xinlong. Among these, Dalian Electric Porcelain and Baobian Electric are relatively strong. After that, Baobian Electric showed some intention to hit the limit, and I went for it—tried to push Baobian Electric to the limit. In reality, the volume wasn’t enough, but I thought today might be a good opportunity for a quick recovery, so lowering the standard shouldn’t be a big problem.

However, after the index surged and then fell back, many stocks got hit with a batch of limit-downs. Baobian Electric also got hammered hard, both inside and out. I was completely stunned.
