The three major A-share indices continued to decline today. By the close, the Shanghai Composite Index fell 0.98% to 4,082 points, the Shenzhen Component Index dropped 0.75%, and the ChiNext Index declined 1.41%. The total market turnover was 2.39 trillion yuan, down 769.6 billion yuan from the previous trading day, with over 3,600 stocks falling.

In the market, the oil and gas sector saw a significant retreat, with Daqing Huake and several other stocks hitting the daily limit down; the shipping and port sector also pulled back, with Phoenix Shipping, Nanjing Port, and others hitting the limit down; the coal sector declined, with Yunmei Energy hitting the limit down; the precious metals sector weakened, led by Western Gold; sectors such as liquor, insurance, securities, and kitchen appliances saw notable declines. Additionally, the power, smart grid, and ultra-high voltage sectors rose, with Ankou Smart Electric and others hitting the limit up; the grain planting and agriculture sectors strengthened, with Nongfa Seed Industry hitting the limit up; the aerospace sector surged, with Aerospace Rainbow hitting the limit up; small metals, textiles, and compound fertilizer sectors also saw significant gains.
