KABUL (Pajhwok): Following the conclusion of the third round of nuclear talks between Iran and the United States, Iran’s Foreign Minister said that significant progress has been made in diplomatic engagement with Washington.
The talks, mediated by Oman, were held on Thursday in Geneva, Switzerland.
According to Iranian media, Seyed Abbas Araqchi, Iran’s Foreign Minister, described this round as the most intensive stage so far, noting that greater progress has been achieved in diplomatic interactions with the United States.
He added that the discussions concluded with a mutual understanding to continue consultations in more detail on key issues for any agreement, including the lifting of sanctions and nuclear-related measures.
Meanwhile, Badr Al-Busaidi, Oman’s Foreign Minister, stated on X that:“We concluded the talks one day after significant progress in negotiations between the United States and Iran.”
He emphasized that the talks will resume soon following consultations in the respective capitals and noted that technical-level discussions are scheduled for next week in Vienna.
