Shanghai Securities News China Securities Journal (Reporter Dou Shiping) reported that on February 5th, local time, Amazon President and CEO Andy Jassy stated during the fiscal year 2025 fourth quarter earnings call that capital expenditures in 2026 are expected to reach $200 billion, mainly for AWS operations.
“Primarily because the company has extremely high demand, and customers indeed want to use AWS to handle core business and AI workloads. Amazon is rapidly monetizing capacity, and the company has extensive experience in understanding the demand signals for AWS and converting that capacity into strong investment returns,” Andy said.
