Our newspaper reported that from February 25 to 26, the 2026 Guang’an City “Spring Breeze Action · Employment Assistance Season” and the focused promotion activities for east-west labor cooperation were held at Civic Square. 239 companies from both inside and outside the province participated in on-site recruitment, offering over 13,000 positions, attracting more than 10,000 job seekers, and reaching employment intentions with nearly 4,000 people.

This event centered on east-west labor cooperation, breaking regional restrictions, and establishing cross-regional recruitment zones in Chongqing, Huzhou (Zhejiang), Binzhou (Shandong), Dongguan (Guangdong), and other places. Positions covered manufacturing, services, new business formats, and more. Several companies also launched positions suitable for people with disabilities, fully meeting the employment needs of different job seekers.

The active participation of companies from other provinces injected strong momentum into the job fair. Many out-of-town companies visited Guang’an for the first time and felt the enthusiasm of local job seekers. The matching rate for positions was quite high. Li Jinlan, HR specialist at Saiteng Precision Electronics (Huzhou), said, “The positions we brought are mainly in production and image-related roles. We are a newly established company with a high demand for talent.”

The job fair at the doorstep was popular among job seekers. Tang Fu, a person with a disability from Beichen Street, Guang’an District, successfully found a cleaning job: “I didn’t expect to come here today and get lucky. There are caring companies hiring people with disabilities. Having a job means I no longer have to burden my family.”

At the event site, departments such as Guang’an District Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, District Disabled Persons’ Federation, and District CPPCC Social and Legal Committee organized volunteers to promote policies on social insurance, entrepreneurship support, and employment assistance for people with disabilities. In addition to on-site recruitment, the event also featured live streaming of job postings to further expand employment channels, promote deep and practical east-west labor cooperation, and strengthen Guang’an’s employment security network.

According to Deng Junfeng, director of Guang’an District Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, the next step is to continue building a 15-minute employment service circle so that residents can find nearby and local jobs. Meanwhile, skills training will be used to improve job seekers’ employment and entrepreneurship abilities, with a focus on employment issues for college graduates and poverty alleviation labor forces.
