UK Maritime Trade Action Office: The Strait of Hormuz remains open at present

On the evening of February 28th local time, a reporter from the China Central Television (CCTV) learned from the UK Maritime Trade Action Office that the Strait of Hormuz is still open, but caution is advised when passing through.

Earlier reports indicated that Iran had closed the Strait of Hormuz.

As of now, the Iranian authorities have not issued any official statement regarding this matter.
