United Airlines Selects GE Aerospace GEnx Engines to Power New 787 Dreamliners

United Airlines has chosen GE Aerospace’s GEnx engines to power its new Boeing 787 Dreamliners, an agreement that includes 300 engines and additional spares. This deal, making United the largest GEnx operator globally, further solidifies the long-standing relationship between the two companies. The GEnx engine, known for its durability and reliability, currently powers two-thirds of all 787 aircraft in operation.
