Leak claims that internal testing of the Switch 2 port of the "Call of Duty" series is progressing well

IT House, February 23 — Technology media Windows Central editor Jez Corden appeared on the video blog “The XB2” yesterday to discuss Microsoft’s new Xbox CEO and the latest developments at the studio.

Here, IT House quotes Jez Corden stating that Microsoft is still bound by acquisition agreements and must bring the Call of Duty series to Nintendo platforms. Therefore, a COD series game on Switch is almost certain, although specific details remain limited.

He explained, “I’ve heard that internal testing of the Call of Duty series on Switch 2 has been quite promising, and I will update on this as soon as I can.”

He emphasized that bringing Call of Duty to Switch 2 is not speculation; after all, regulators have long required Microsoft to bring Call of Duty to the Switch platform in some form.

Jez Corden further clarified, “I don’t know which specific Call of Duty this is, it could be the latest title. However, Microsoft and Activision might also adopt different strategies, possibly releasing older, easier-to-port titles first, so it could also be ‘Warzone’.”
