Prices of products such as urea and coal decline, Hubei Yihua's net profit in 2025 decreases by 16.74% year-on-year

On February 27th, Hubei Yihua (000422.SZ) announced its 2025 annual performance forecast. The total operating revenue for the year was 25,659,113,500 yuan, compared to 25,394,172,300 yuan in the same period last year, a year-on-year increase of 1.04%. The total profit was 1,828,733,400 yuan, down from 2,392,384,800 yuan last year, a decrease of 23.56%. Net profit attributable to shareholders of the listed company was 888,810,900 yuan, compared to 1,067,484,900 yuan last year, a decline of 16.74%. Net profit excluding non-recurring gains and losses attributable to shareholders was 512,643,700 yuan, up 20.08% from 426,928,600 yuan last year. Basic earnings per share were 0.8188 yuan, compared to 0.9992 yuan last year, a decrease of 18.05%.

The main reasons for the performance change this period are due to market supply and demand dynamics. The prices of the company’s main products—urea, coal, and polyvinyl chloride—declined to varying degrees compared to the same period last year, while the prices of raw materials such as sulfur and natural gas increased, leading to a decrease in profitability for related products. Meanwhile, the company actively responded to cyclical fluctuations in product market prices, seized opportunities in the phosphoric fertilizer market, continuously strengthened its operational foundation, coordinated relocation and demolition, new project construction, and traditional industry upgrades and transformations, and promoted the implementation of major asset restructuring.
