A-shares: A Massive Human Nature Execution Machine

A full year of trading has given me a deeper understanding of human fear and greed. The more I learn, the higher my standards become; there’s never enough to learn. [Taogu Ba]

Since the rotation period from the beginning of the year until now, I’ve fallen into a trading bottleneck. The year-end and external factors have sparked a stronger desire to push further. Breaking through the limits of environment, themes, individual stocks, and aesthetics—understanding each fate’s arrangement—helps me to move the buy points earlier. Even if you haven’t entered the market, you must understand the logic behind this market cycle.

Human actions are driven by genetics. When facing the unknown, people tend to fall into two emotions:

Greed comes from the desire to acquire more, to improve survival. Fear stems from threats to your existence.

Because you can’t understand, you proceed cautiously. Because you’re ignorant, you don’t know where to buy or sell. But human nature often desires many things, leading to a cycle of repeated mistakes and sinking into a quagmire.

If you want greed, the market will give you the fruits of greed. If you want to go astray for evil, the market will give you the consequences of evil, preventing you from crossing the trading boundary, leading you to hype and frenzy.

Your understanding of fate and your aesthetic judgment of individual stocks test your grasp of some fundamental market principles. Summarizing patterns, understanding “aesthetics” and “art”—do you have the eye to discover beauty, to see others’ sunshine, beauty, uniqueness, and brilliance?

Whether it’s technical analysis, logical thinking, financial knowledge, or policy understanding, these can all be cultivated through practice and accumulated over time. But once the human heart goes astray, it’s very hard to correct.

A teacher is great because they have a heart that encompasses the universe, insight into the essence of things, honesty, strategy, tactics, and steadily achieve their goals.

Thus, in the market, one can achieve what刺大 (a reference to a famous trader) calls “having ideas in the eyes, no top or bottom in the heart, and natural divine operation.” Many things are urgent; the world turns, time is pressing. Ten thousand years is too long—only seize the day.
