In the short term, the upcoming Glamsterdam upgrade will introduce block-level access lists to enable parallel validation, optimize block processing efficiency through ePBS, and launch an innovative multi-dimensional Gas model that separates “state creation” from “execution” costs.

In the long-term plan, Ethereum will handle data at up to 8MB/sec using PeerDAS technology and plans to gradually introduce ZK-EVM technology starting in 2026.
