Abstract generation in progress

L3Harris Technologies has significantly reduced the lead times for propulsion components used in air-breathing hypersonic engines by a factor of ten through enhanced additive manufacturing processes. This development, supported by a Department of War Manufacturing Technology Program contract, aims to accelerate development and testing while lowering production costs. The initiative focuses on creating a “factory of the future” utilizing large-format additive manufacturing, robotics, and optimized processes to produce complete propulsion systems from powdered metal.
