Recently trying out several different hardware and software note-taking tools, including a privacy-focused note solution. To be honest, the experience has been pretty good, and I’m a bit hooked. The application scenarios for these kinds of tools are becoming more and more diverse in the Web3 space—whether used to manage private key notes, transaction records, or just daily knowledge accumulation, they are quite useful. Hardware solutions offer security, while software tools provide convenience; each has its advantages, and it really depends on your actual needs. Do any friends use similar products? How did you all choose?

Private key notes definitely need attention. I now mainly use hardware solutions; even if the software is very user-friendly, I still have some reservations.

I just want to ask, do you really need to use hardware for private key notes? It feels a bit complicated. --- Haha, I’ve definitely been convinced, but the price of hardware solutions is a bit discouraging. --- Is web3 compatibility really that good? I should try it, mainly worried that software solutions might have issues someday. --- For security, hardware is still the best. No matter how convenient software is, it can't withstand a phishing attack. --- There are many claims about privacy notes, but does anyone actually use them? --- I choose software for convenience. Anyway, I don’t store anything too critical, so what’s there to worry about? --- Transaction records really need to be managed properly, or you might forget when you bought what. --- Hardware or software, it still depends on the wallet. Poor folks don’t care much about privacy. --- It seems like everything now claims to be web3-oriented, but the hype is bigger than the practicality. --- If private key notes get leaked, it’s game over. Better to play it safe.

Hardware wallet administrator, a privacy advocate at a paranoid level. I use a combination of hardware + paper and pen; I won't touch software tools even if they're more convenient, unless they are offline. Private keys can't be stored digitally; it's too dangerous. My comment: Paper and pen are never outdated. You software tool users will eventually suffer losses. To manage private keys, what do you need a note-taking tool for? Just write a note and lock it in a safe. Got inspired? Actually, I should be scared. The more private the tool, the more suspicious I am. True security is complete offline. We've chosen a hardware solution; everything else is just giving hackers a freebie. Who's behind your privacy solution? Have you reviewed the code? Don't tell me open source is automatically safe. Haha, found my tribe. Does anyone want to hear my paranoid theories? Casual records are fine, but when it comes to assets, I absolutely won't compromise. That's my bottom line.
