At 30 years old, my understanding of the phrase "My fate is determined by myself, not by heaven" has completely reversed. In my youth, I was full of bravado; now I just hope life can go a bit smoother.
But in the crypto world, who says turning your funds 20 times is a fool's dream? I was initially skeptical too, until I actually tried it myself.
In three months, I treated trading as a practice to strengthen my discipline. There are no secrets, no innate talent—only a faith in discipline like a religion.
**First Month: Building Courage Phase**
5000U is not a small amount, but I didn't choose to go all-in at once. I split it into 5 parts, each 1000U, and treated each separately, which eased the psychological pressure. I only focused on Bitcoin, completely blocked out all news and analysis, used 20x leverage for fixed positions, entering each trade with 500U, leaving the remaining 500U as the final insurance.
The operation was simple and brutal: lock in profits after a 10% gain, cut losses immediately at 5%. Repeating this mechanically, my 5000U gradually grew to 30,000U in a month.
**Second Month: Snowball Phase**
After reaching 30,000U, the rhythm changed. Not out of greed, but to strengthen risk control. I always only used half of the total position for trading. After two consecutive losses, I had to reset to the original 500U and start over. It sounds like punishment, but it’s actually a lifesaver.
**Third Month: Psychological Battle**
This month, my biggest enemy wasn’t the market, but myself. Watching others go all-in and double their money while I was still calculating gains and losses on a calculator was uncomfortable. When I wanted to add to my position and take a risk, I would check my stop-loss records—those numbers were more convincing than any motivational quote.
When a big trend finally arrived, because I had profits to cushion me, my mindset was more stable. I dared to increase my position to 70%, loosened some take-profit targets, but tightened stop-losses. During oscillations and pullbacks, I wouldn’t cut at stop-loss or exit early at take-profit. This wave pushed my funds directly past 100,000U.
**The Secret to Making Money in Crypto**
The real challenge isn’t finding those hundredfold coins. It’s the word "endure"—resisting FOMO’s restlessness and enduring the fear during sharp drops.
Stop dreaming of bottom-fishing and getting rich overnight. First, control your hands, ensure you don’t get out before the bull market arrives. As long as you’re still in the car, you’re still the driver.
