According to TASS, Stanislav Kuznetsov, Vice Chairman of Russia's largest bank, Sberbank, stated that Russia's financial pyramid has adjusted its tactics, shifting from inducing victims to take out loans to disguising itself as "brokers" to carry out scams under the guise of cryptocurrency and securities trading. Each scam has caused an average loss of about 1 billion rubles. Over the past year, Sberbank's security department has identified and assisted law enforcement agencies in cracking down on 38 such scam organizations. Kuznetsov said that the bank is increasing its use of AI and complex algorithms to proactively identify risks and track criminal networks.
