Latest market intel from the 2026 financial advisor benchmark survey reveals what's really driving demand in the crypto ETP space. According to the findings, index funds remain the top choice at 42% of new U.S. crypto product preferences. When it comes to single-token exposure, Solana (SOL) leads the pack at 19% adoption among advisors, followed closely by XRP capturing 14%—making it the third most popular choice overall and the second-preferred single token pick. The data points to a clear shift: mainstream financial institutions are actively seeking more diversified crypto investment vehicles, with both established protocols and emerging assets gaining serious institutional traction.

Both SOL and XRP are being bought by institutions; index funds are truly the main course, and this has indeed been confirmed.

Sol's data is interesting. From a technical perspective, 19% is already the ceiling. Going higher, the arbitrage space actually diminishes. That 14% for XRP seems more like institutions hedging. Backtest the risk coefficient of such a portfolio... But I still went all-in. Disclaimer.

SOL 19% XRP 14%, can we really trust these numbers... Are institutions really paying attention to crypto or is it just follow-the-leader speculation

SOL is not moving up anymore, but I feel like XRP is about to take off...
