The governance layer faces a fundamental control problem. It doesn't even manage its own token contract—only the Foundation holds that authority. When it comes to proposals, again, the Foundation acts as the sole gatekeeper.

This isn't decentralization; it's the opposite. Power keeps concentrating rather than distributing. Real governance should mean the community can actually push back, but right now they can't. There's no meaningful mechanism to hold Labs or the Foundation accountable. That's the core issue.

If this pattern continues, governance becomes just a façade—the illusion of control without the actual substance.

Basically, it's just using the guise of decentralization, but in reality, it's still dominated by the Foundation alone.

In plain terms, it's about hiding centralization behind the guise of decentralization, with the foundation having absolute control.

It's that same old trick of the foundation calling the shots and the community can't check in. It just sounds like pretending to decentralize.

It's the same old game again. Foundation makes the rules, and the community is just a decoration.

Basically, it's just a change of packaging without changing the medicine. Foundation holds all the power, right?
