Bitcoin rebounded over 1% on Friday, staying above the 50-day moving average (EMA), and limiting the fall to below $100,000.
On Thursday, after the stablecoin USDC issuer Circle was listed on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE), the cryptocurrency market suddenly crashed. Bitcoin (BTC) fell to the level of 100,000 dollars, down 3%, Ethereum (ETH) dropped nearly 8%, and Ripple (XRP) fell nearly 5%.
The market turmoil resulted in a nearly $1 billion liquidation in the crypto market, with buyers losing $888 million and short liquidations losing $99 million.
