VerusCoin Bridge Attacker Returns 4,052.4 ETH ($8.5M) to Project, Retains 25% as White-Hat Bounty

According to on-chain analyst PeckShield, the VerusCoin cross-chain bridge attacker has returned 4,052.4 ETH (approximately $8.5 million) to the project team address, representing 75% of the stolen funds. The remaining 25% of stolen assets—1,350 ETH valued at $2.8 million—has been retained by the attacker as a white-hat bounty.
