According to PeckShield, the Verus Bridge exploiter returned 4,052 ETH worth approximately $8.5 million on May 22, representing 75% of the $11.58 million drained from the protocol days earlier. The attacker retained 1,350 ETH, valued near $2.8 million, which security researchers described as a negotiated bounty arrangement.
