According to Jin10 Data, Qatar's Prime Minister Mohammed and Iran's Foreign Minister Araghchi held a phone call on May 23, discussing regional peace efforts. Mohammed reiterated full support for negotiations aimed at reaching an agreement and emphasized that all parties must respond positively to achieve sustainable peace in the region. He also stressed that freedom of navigation is a non-negotiable principle, noting that blocking the Strait of Hormuz or using it as pressure would only deepen the crisis.
