Novogene Listed on U.S. Defense Department 1260H List on June 8, Along with Over 70 Chinese Firms

According to Novogene Company Limited's statement, the company was added to the U.S. Department of Defense's 1260H list on June 8 under the Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2021, alongside over 70 other Chinese enterprises.

Novogene said it has no ownership, control, beneficial ownership, or affiliated relationships with the relevant departments specified in the 1260H clause and believes the designation is factually incorrect. The company stated it is an independently operated private enterprise and has initiated communication with U.S. authorities to address the matter.
