Japan's 400 Tomahawk Missiles Face Serious Delivery Delays as U.S. Prioritizes Iran Operations, Says Pentagon

GateNews
According to Financial Times, on May 23, Japan's delivery of 400 Tomahawk cruise missiles ordered from the United States will face serious delays. The U.S. Department of Defense is prioritizing replenishment of weapons stocks depleted during military operations against Iran, according to multiple sources. U.S. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth communicated the delay to Japanese Defense Minister Shinjiro Koizumi in a call earlier this month. The U.S. has also warned other allies, including the United Kingdom and Poland, that their weapons system deliveries from America will encounter significant delays.
