Coinbase's x402 Protocol Launches on Injective, Enabling AI Agents to Self-Pay API Fees

INJ-0.68%
According to Odaily, Coinbase's x402 protocol went live on Injective today, allowing AI agents to autonomously pay for API calls without accounts, subscriptions, or manual intervention. The protocol leverages the HTTP 402 status code to facilitate payments in a single HTTP interaction. Injective's single-block settlement and ~650 millisecond latency enable agents to complete payments before making their next decision.
