China's Central Bank and Brazil's Central Bank Hold Fourth Financial Cooperation Meeting on June 9

According to Jin10, on June 9, China's People's Bank and Brazil's Central Bank held their fourth financial strategic cooperation working group meeting, jointly chaired by PBC Governor Pan Gongsheng and BCB Governor Galípolo.

The working group was established following a heads-of-state meeting in late 2024 and has since organized over 20 rounds of discussions to advance bilateral financial cooperation across sectors. Both institutions affirmed the mechanism's role in promoting local currency usage and supporting real economy services, while committing to deepen cooperation and implement joint initiatives moving forward.
