CFTC: Speculators Cut 2-Year Treasury Shorts by 41,775 Contracts, Increase 10-Year Shorts by 66,885 as of May 19

According to CFTC data as of the week ending May 19, speculators reduced net short positions in CBOT U.S. 2-year Treasury futures by 41,775 contracts to 1,560,837, while increasing net short positions in 10-year Treasury futures by 66,885 contracts to 848,052. Additionally, speculators added 15,470 contracts to ultra-long-term Treasury futures, bringing net shorts to 254,464, and reduced 5-year Treasury futures shorts by 11,629 contracts to 1,350,516.
