Gate Perpetual Futures Added Hedge Split Mode

Feature Highlights

Hedge Split mode is designed to help users manage positions more flexibly within a single market, improving capital efficiency and risk management:

1. Up to four positions per market are supported: cross-margin long, cross-margin short, isolated-margin long, and isolated-margin short positions.
2. Cross and isolated positions can coexist within the same market. In isolated margin mode, long and short positions can have different leverage levels. Leverage settings for cross and isolated positions are independent and do not affect each other.

To ensure proper access to this feature, please update the Gate App to version 8.7.0 or later.

Risk and Margin Details

1. Isolated Margin Risk Segregation: Each position in isolated margin mode is managed independently with its own margin, risk limits, and liquidation conditions, without impacting other isolated positions.

2. Cross Margin Risk Sharing: Long and short positions in cross margin mode within the same market share a common margin pool and risk limits.

Lead Trader Notice

Users currently participating as lead traders cannot temporarily switch to Hedge Split mode. Support for this feature will be evaluated in future releases and announced in advance via official channels.
