PANews-Nachrichten vom 13. Februar, Berichten von The Block zufolge wurde das X-Konto von Zach Witkoff, Mitbegründer des Verschlüsselungsprojekts World Liberty Financial im Zusammenhang mit Trump, am Mittwoch von Hackern angegriffen. Die Angreifer bewarben eine Meme-Münze im Zusammenhang mit Barron Trump in sozialen Medien und behaupteten, dass “Trump die Nachricht bald bestätigen wird”. World Liberty Financial bestätigte anschließend, dass Witkoffs Konto gehackt wurde und forderte die Benutzer auf, nicht an diesem betrügerischen Projekt teilzunehmen. Zuvor hatte Ivanka Trump, die Tochter von Donald Trump, am 23. Januar die Benutzer gewarnt, dass ein nicht autorisiertes Meme-Coin-Projekt ihr Porträt missbraucht, um Investoren zu betrügen.
