Just now, my hand itched again, and I wanted to chase a position, and the first thing that popped into my mind was: Are the people pushing me to add to my position driven by information or emotion? Recently, everyone has been interpreting ETF capital flows, the risk appetite of the US stock market, and the rise and fall of cryptocurrencies as if they are tightly linked. I also get caught up in the rhythm, but honestly, many times it's just "seeing others rush in, and I don't want to miss out." I then simply set my alert prices and limit orders in advance, and put my phone down to watch the fireworks... Surprisingly, my anxiety really eased a bit. If it doesn't trigger, I treat it as the market not calling me to work; if it triggers, I follow the preset plan, no need to act on the spot. Anyway, for someone like me, the biggest fear is emotional trading when opening a position and rationally closing it. That's all for now.
