BlockBeats News, May 7th, according to Hyperinsight monitoring, Brent crude oil briefly retreated, and on Hyperliquid, BRENTOIL fell below $98, once again losing the $100 round number.

This round of decline caused two on-chain crude oil long whale positions, totaling 30.5k BRENTOIL long contracts, to be forcibly liquidated, worth approximately $3.02 million, with liquidation prices at $99.8 and $97.8 respectively.

Both whales opened positions last night, when Brent crude experienced a sharp drop to $98 followed by a slight rebound, and they chose to enter long positions near $100, placing the liquidation lines just below $100, possibly attempting to bet on a rebound.
