Just looked back at Bitcoin's performance over the last five years and honestly, the numbers are wild. If you'd thrown $1,000 into BTC back in 2020, you'd be sitting on over $10,600 by now - that's a 962% gain. Pretty crazy when you think about it.

What's interesting is how Bitcoin keeps bouncing back from doubters. Yeah, it pulled back from that $124K peak we saw earlier, and it's down about 18% over the past year to around $77K now. But zooming out, the long-term trend is still insane. The last Bitcoin halving and other catalysts have kept pushing adoption forward, even when people thought the run was over.

There's actually some positive stuff brewing too. You've got companies treating Bitcoin as a treasury asset now, interest rate cuts potentially coming, and clearer regulations emerging. Plus the whole halving cycle keeps bringing fresh interest. Obviously nobody can predict exactly where price goes next, but the structural support seems solid.

Not saying you should FOMO in right now, but the fact that patient holders from five years ago are up this much speaks volumes about Bitcoin's staying power as a long-term play.
