Just realized I've been throwing money at streaming services I barely use. Checked out what's available for free trials and honestly it's a solid way to test things out before you actually commit. YouTube TV lets you try it for two weeks with like 85+ channels and unlimited DVR, then it's around $55 a month after that. Hulu's got a 30-day free trial too if you're new - their basic plan is pretty cheap at like $7 a month with ads. Amazon Prime Video is interesting because you get it free if you already have Prime, but you can also just pay for the video part alone. Showtime's doing 30 days free right now as well. The thing is, most of these don't lock you into anything, so you can actually cancel whenever. That's the move honestly - test drive a few streaming services during the trial period and see which ones you actually watch. Saves a lot of money compared to just subscribing to everything and forgetting about half of them. Worth trying before you buy, especially if you're trying to cut back on spending like everyone else these days.
